Thats a lot of sharks to catch in one night, great catch and good job. The west cost dose it again,

As for the cable vers wire when the shark bite on it dos't matter ./ THEY WILL HIT ANYTHING.

I fished the west coast on that Sat. and I had one hit after 12hrs. I'm green with envy Great pics and post.

I think I fished on that same Saturday also I didn't get one run in 12 hours and caught nothing but ladyfish all day!

Anyways, what a hell of a night of sharkin'..you guys tore it up out there, to me that is a good month of fishing

REVIVING (BUMPING)THIS POSTUP TO SHOW THAT SEPTEMBER SHARKING ON THE WEST COAST CAN HAVE POSITIVE RESULTS.NOT EVERY YEAR IS THE SAME BUT I BELIEVE IF YOU ARE ALWAYS FISHING THE SAME AREA AND NOT HAVING SUCCESS IT'S TIME TO MOVE ON TO A DIFFERENT PLACE AND TRY DIFFERENT THINGS,,,THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX AND GIT'TER DONE!!
THIS TRIP BY RYAN AND FRIENDS WAS TO AN ISLAND NOT FAR FROM SHORE AND HAD EXCEPTIONAL RESULTS FOR SEPTEMBER.GOOD LUCK and "catch a Monster"

The sharks were plentiful Sat night. We arrived at the beach a few hours before sunset to get set up and the one time I didnt bring a bait rod the surface was exploding with action...Tried my luck with the cast net but only came up with a few small ladyfish...so frozen baits it was...

Between the 2 of us we tagged and released 7 sharks including the ever elusive tiger shark!!!

3 black tips with the biggest going 5'6" and one already tagged
2 lemons @ 7'2" and 7'6"
1 bull @ 6'1"
1 tiger @ 7'6"

This blacktip ate a 2' blacktip that I didnt even know was on the line...a two-for!!! guess that makes 8 sharks lol

There were a few welcomed distractions out there

And for the guest of honor...ate a big ole grouper head

What a night!!!
